Kodai Senga struggles in return from injured list

by Bruno Mulé | Mets Correspondent | Wed, Jun 17th 9:15am EDT

Kodai Senga took the loss Tuesday against the Reds after allowing four runs on four hits and four walks over four innings. He needed 36 pitches to get through the first inning, when he walked the first two batters before allowing a three-run home run to Sal Stewart and a solo shot to Spencer Steer. Senga finished with five strikeouts in his return from the injured list.

Fantasy Impact:

Senga’s command issues made for an uneven return, as all four runs came in the opening frame. He is scheduled to face the Cubs on Monday, but his inconsistency remains a concern for fantasy managers.
