Trey Yesavage walks five in no-decision against Astros Wednesday
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Thu, Jun 25th 9:20am EDT
Blue Jays right-hander Trey Yesavage allowed one earned run on two hits and five walks across 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Astros on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Yesavage did a fine job of limiting hits and runs on the evening, but he handed out five free passes while striking out five on the evening. While he fell just one out shy of a quality start, the outing feels ominous as this one was the third time in his last six starts in which he has walked at least five after walking six on June 12 against the Yankees and seven on May 30 against the Orioles. He sports a solid 3.56 ERA through 11 starts, but also a 4.65 xFIP and a 4.58 SIERA as his middling 58:30 K:BB in 60 2/3 innings leaves something to be desired.
