Aaron Nola turns in another respectable effort Wednesday night
by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent | Thu, Jun 25th 9:26am EDT
Aaron Nola allowed two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
The long ball continues to plague Nola, as he allowed solo shots in the first and second innings of Wednesday's game. However, that was all the scoring the Nationals mustered against the veteran righty, as Nola settled down and rolled off three straight shutout frames before leaving after the fifth. His ERA still sits at an ugly 5.58 with a 1.45 WHIP through 16 starts, but Nola is showing positive signs going into the second half of the season. He'll face the Pirates on Monday.
