Giants third baseman Matt Chapman (abdominal) will undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the severity of his strain and whether an IL stint will be necessary. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Chapman departed Tuesday's game against the D-backs with an abdominal issue, and it appears he could miss some time. He is already heading toward the paternity list with a baby due on July 5, but Wednesday's MRI will determine if additional time off will be required.
