Payton Tolle chased early by Nationals

Payton Tolle took the loss Wednesday against the Nationals after allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks over three-plus innings. He struck out five in Boston’s 10-2 defeat. Four of the seven hits went for extra bases, including home runs by Andres Chaparro and Nasim Nunez, their first of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The outing was Tolle’s shortest of the year and marked the first time since May 28 that he failed to complete five innings. He owns a 3.39 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 74:23 K across 74.1 innings and is scheduled to face the White Sox on the road next week.
