Michael Lorenzen allowed four earned runs on four hits and six walks while striking out one over 4 1/3 innings in Thursday's win over the Marlins.

Lorenzen has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in six of his last nine contests. The right-hander remains one of many underwhelming starting options in the Rockies rotation for manager Warren Schaeffer, posting a 6.91 ERA and 1.81 WHIP with a 3-9 record and 2.1 K/BB ratio across 19 appearances.
