Brendan Beck to be called up to start Saturday

Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters that Brendan Beck will be recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start on Saturday against the Twins. (Gary Phillips on Twitter)

Beck has posted a 3.07 ERA over 88 innings in 16 starts at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season. He will take the rotation spot of Carlos Rodon.
