Trevor McDonald allowed eight earned runs on 11 hits and one walk over 2 1/3 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
McDonald has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in four of his last five contests. The right-hander remains another underwhelming option in the Giants rotation for manager Tony Vitello, posting a 5.46 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with a 3-7 record and 7.6 K/9 ratio through 12 starts.
