The Red Sox have recalled infielder Brett Harris from Triple-A Worcester. (Boston Red Sox on Twitter)

Harris gets promoted to the big leagues with left-hander Ranger Suarez (groin) being placed on the injured list on Thursday. Harris, recently acquired from the Athletics, hit .167 with a homer in five games for Worcester prior to his promotion.
