The Red Sox have placed left-hander Ranger Suarez on the 15-day injured list with a left groin strain. (Boston Red Sox on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move is retroactive to July 6 as SUarez has been working to attempt a stint on the injured list. The southpaw will miss his second All-Star game in as many selections due to injury as a result. Infielder Brett Harris was recalled from Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move.
