Owen Murphy gave up three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 2 2/3 innings in Saturday's 7-6 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Murphy made his third MLB appearance and first start Saturday afternoon, but it ended up being somewhat of a brief outing. The 22-year-old righty did not pitch too poorly, but he was lifted after 49 pitches with two outs and the bases juiced in the third inning. Murphy now carries a decent 4.05 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with six strikeouts across 6 2/3 innings for the Braves.
