Tomoyuki Sugano allowed two earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over 5 1/3 innings in Friday's win over the Brewers.

Sugano has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in four of his last six contests. The right-hander has benefited from pitching behind a surprisingly strong Rockies lineup when toeing the rubber for manager Warren Schaeffer, posting a 4.69 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 10-4 record and 2.3 K/BB ratio across 18 starts.
