Trey Yesavage allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out nine over four innings in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.

Yesavage has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three or more runs in each of his last four trips to the mound. The right-hander remains another inconsistent arm in an underperforming Blue Jays rotation for manager John Schneider, posting a 4-5 record with a 3.92 ERA and 1.18 WHIP alongside a 9.2 K/9 ratio through 16 starts.
