Kazuma Okamoto went 2-for-5 in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox with a three-run home run and one double.

Okamoto has underwhelmed at the plate of late, picking up hits in just two of his last 10 contests. The rookie has flashed an explosive bat times despite remaining one of many inconsistent options in the Blue Jays lineup for manager John Schneider, slashing .227 with 23 home runs, 65 RBI, and 51 runs scored through 101 games.
