The Detroit Tigers have traded two-time AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers in a four-player deal on Saturday. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

The Skubal era in Detroit has come to an end. The Tigers have reportedly dealt the reigning two-time AL Cy Young Award winner to the Dodgers in exchange for outfield prospect Zyhir Hope, right-hander River Ryan, and right-hander Brady Smith. Skubal underwent an elbow procedure midway through the season, but has posted a 2.79 ERA with a 116:14 K:BB across 96 2/3 innings across 16 starts. He will join a loaded Dodgers rotation for a club in search of their third consecutive World Series title.
