Josiah Ragsdale dealt to Cardinals

The Brewers have traded outfield prospect Josiah Ragsdale to the Cardinals as part of a four-player trade on Monday. (Adam McCalvy on Twitter)

Ragsdale, 22, is the No. 13 ranked prospect in the Brewers' system, according to MLB Pipeline. He has fellow prospect Alexander Frias were sent to the Cardinals in exchange for right-hander Dustin May and left-hander JoJo Romero on Monday. The 22-year-old Ragsdale has hit .316 with 19 home runs, 31 stolen bases, and a 1.022 OPS across 86 games between High-A and Double-A this season.
