Mason Barnett allowed five earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out seven over 4 1/3 innings in Thursday’s loss to the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Barnett has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in each of his last two starts. The right-harder remains another dismal arm as part of an underwhelming Athletics pitching staff, posting a 5.56 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with a 1-2 record and .810 OPS allowed through 16 appearances.
