Luis Castillo allowed five earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over four innings in Thursday’s loss to the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Castillo continues an underwhelming stretch on the mound, allowing three earned runs or more in each of his last four contests. The right-hander remains one of the more dismal options in the White Sox rotation for manager Will Venable, posting a 5.30 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with a 3-9 record and 7.9 K/9 ratio through 21 appearances.
