Tyler Phillips allowed one run on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts across four innings in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Phillips' only run allowed came on a solo home run by Mike Trout in the first inning. He settled in afterward, tossing three scoreless innings. He's been excellent since the All-Star break, posting a 3.44 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 14 strikeouts across 18.1 innings. Phillips is scheduled to make his next start on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
