Ronel Blanco allowed three earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out one over 4 2/3 innings in Friday's win over the Padres.

Blanco has underwhelmed on the mound since returning, allowing three earned runs or more in each of his four contests. The right-hander remains one of many dismal options as part of a disappointing Astros rotation for manager Joe Espada, posting a 6.98 ERA and 1.34 WHIP with a 0-1 record and .867 OPS allowed through four starts.
