Martin Perez turned in six scoreless innings in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Mets, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez delivered yet again for the Braves on Tuesday night, as the crafty veteran earned his eighth win of the season and 99th of his career. Perez has now worked 16 straight shutout innings over three outings this month, posting a 0.69 WHIP and 60.0% ground-ball rate. He's struck out 11 and induced four double plays during this stretch. Perez has been a fairly unsung hero for the Braves' rotation this year. He'll look to keep rolling Monday in Minnesota.
