Cease has a mixed matchup and plus betting info tonight. The Red Sox are 26th in wRC+ (93) with a 21.9% strikeout rate versus righties and fifth in wRC+ (105) with a 22.5% strikeout rate on the road in 2026.
Boston is also sixth in wRC+ (116) with a 20.9% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days and second in wRC+ (130) with a 20.1% strikeout rate in the last 14 days. Nevertheless, the Blue Jays are -148 favorites, and the game’s total is 7.5 runs.
Kyle Harrison might offer more bang for your buck than Cease, making him my favorite pitcher in cash games, albeit an exciting one for GPPs, too. In 18 starts spanning 88.2 innings this season, the lefty has twirled the following stats:

Harrison’s matchup looks good through a full-season lens but is challenging based on recent performance. The Padres are tied for 25th in wRC+ (88) with a 21.7% strikeout rate versus lefties and 25th in wRC+ (94) with a 21.3% strikeout rate at home.
However, San Diego is first in wRC+ (123) with an 18.3% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days and tied for fifth in wRC+ (111) with an 18.1% strikeout rate in the last 14 days. The betting info suggests oddsmakers and bettors are more interested in the full-season numbers, as the Brewers are -140 favorites, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5 runs.
Sean Burke had a disappointing start in his last turn on August 5th, allowing two earned runs on five hits and two walks, with four strikeouts across only 4.1 innings. Nonetheless, Burke has been on a heater. In nine appearances (eight starts), totaling 55 innings, since June 18th, Burke has dominated the opposition to the tune of the following numbers:

Burke has a mouthwatering matchup and rock-solid betting info. The Reds are tied for 29th (last) in wRC+ (87) with a 25.5% strikeout rate versus righties and tied for 23rd in wRC+ (91) with a 24.1% strikeout rate on the road this season.
Cincinnati is also 16th in wRC+ (93) with a 26.1% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days and 19th in wRC+ (90) with a 30.2% strikeout rate in the last 14 days. Thus, the White Sox are -165 favorites, and the game’s total is eight runs.
Suggested Lineup Stacks
Michael Wacha has a blistering 1.82 ERA in his previous four starts, totaling 24.2 innings. I hope drafters fade the Dodgers because of Wacha’s ERA during that stretch because his 4.30 xERA, 4.86 xFIP and 4.95 SIERA indicate he’s been exceptionally lucky. Kansas City’s bullpen is also dreadful, ranking 29th in ERA (5.37).
Bryan Woo is a train wreck on the road — 6.71 ERA, 4.20 xFIP and 1.49 WHIP in 63 innings. Woo has coughed up a .353 wOBA to 153 left-handed batters and a .351 wOBA to 128 right-handed batters on the road in 2026.

- Shohei Ohtani has crushed 26 home runs with 75 runs, 72 RBI, seven stolen bases, a .396 on-base percentage (OBP), .251 ISO, .394 wOBA and 151 wRC+ in 500 plate appearances this season.
- Max Muncy has drilled 42 dingers with a .379 OBP, .242 ISO, .376 wOBA and 141 wRC+ in 837 plate appearances against righties since 2024.
- Luis Garcia Jr. has smashed a career-high 24 homers with 50 runs, 78 RBI, four stolen bases, a .311 OBP, .271 ISO, .366 wOBA, .353 expected wOBA (xwOBA) and 132 wRC+ in 395 plate appearances this season.
Value Plays/Punts
- Spencer Jones got off to a slow start in his first taste of the Majors. However, in 106 plate appearances since June 5th, Jones has slugged five home runs with 11 runs, 13 RBI, three stolen bases, a .311 OBP, .223 ISO, .327 wOBA, .319 xwOBA and 111 wRC+.
- George Lombard Jr. has hit two homers with four runs, two RBI, a .400 OBP, .353 ISO, .443 wOBA, .359 xwOBA and 191 wRC+ in 20 plate appearances for the Yankees after hitting 12 homers with 14 stolen bases, a .411 OBP, .215 ISO, .406 wOBA, .356 xwOBA and 140 wRC+ in 358 plate appearances split between Double-A (90 plate appearances) and Triple-A (262 plate appearances) this season.
- Hunter Feduccia isn’t a world-beater by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s a rock-solid punt on DraftKings, where users must use a catcher. He has a 90 wRC+ in 239 plate appearances against right-handed pitching since 2024, and will play at a salary only $300 above the minimum.

Dylan Cease has logged a 36.5% strikeout rate and 95 strikeouts in 63 innings at home this year. He’s cleared 7.5 strikeouts in eight out of 11 home starts this season. Cease also has a 34.6% strikeout rate in his previous four starts, totaling 28 innings.
Bryan Woo, as mentioned above, is a train wreck on the road. To that point, he’s recorded fewer than 17.5 outs in eight out of 12 road tilts.
Sean Burke has exceeded 6.5 strikeouts in five of his last seven starts. His strikeout prowess meshes well with his matchup against the Reds. Cincinnati ranks 30th in strikeout rate (25.5%) versus righties and 24th in strikeout rate (24.1%) on the road this season. The Reds also rank 29th in strikeout rate (26.1%) over the previous 30 days and 30th (30.2%) over the last 14 days.
