Heriberto Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, two runs scored and two RBI in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hernandez got off to a rough start in August but has since turned things around. He has recorded a hit in three of his last four games with two extra-base hits, including his first home run of the month on Wednesday. He owns a .255/.298/.451 slash line on the year.
