Foster Griffin allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out three over five innings in Wednesday's 6-4 win over Detroit on 83 pitches.

Griffin picked up his first win for the Guardians after they acquired him from Washington at the trade deadline. After the win, Griffin now has a 3.25 ERA and 1.11 WHIP to go with a 13-4 record and 125 strikeouts across 24 starts. Griffin's next start will come against the Giants on Tuesday.
