Lane Thomas hits first homer with Braves

Lane Thomas went 1-for-2 with a solo homer in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
With the Mets sending lefty Zac Thornton to start in the mound Wednesday evening, Thomas got the start in his typical short-side of the Braves' left-field platoon. Thomas took advantage, as he got the scoring started with a solo shot in the second inning. Since joining the Braves via trade a couple of weeks ago, Thomas has gone 2-for-11 with two walks, two RBI, and three runs scored. He'll continue to platoon with Mike Yastrzemski, who also homered Wednesday night, going forward.
