Jack Perkins allowed six earned runs on 12 hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Perkins continues an underwhelming stretch of late, allowing three earned runs or more in six of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander remains another dismal option as part of an underwhelming starting staff for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 7.27 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with a 2-9 record, 10.4 K/9 ratio, and .837 OPS allowed across 29 appearances.
