Andrew Alvarez allowed two earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings in Friday's loss to the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
After the defeat, he now owns a 3.72 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with an 8.3 K/9 and a 2-4 record across 10 starts. The Nationals’ offense was not able to get anything going to give Alvarez any run support. He is currently slated to start against the Rangers in his next outing.
