Kyle Freeland allowed four earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over 3 2/3 innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Dodgers.

Freeland continues an underwhelming stretch of late, allowing four earned runs or more in five of his last eight trips to the mound. The left-hander remains another dismal arm as part of an underwhelming Rockies rotation, posting a 6.37 ERA and 1.46 WHIP with a 4-10 record, 7.5 K/9 ratio, and .866 OPS allowed across 23 starts.
