by Chris Schommer | Red Sox Correspondent |
Jake Bennett allowed three hits and one walk while striking out one over 3 2/3 innings in Friday's win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Bennett has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing three earned runs or more in three of his last four trips to the mound. The left-hander has battled inconsistent command down the stretch for manager Chad Tracy in the Red Sox rotation, posting a 3.65 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with a 9-7 record and 7.2 K/9 ratio through 20 appearances.
