Miami Marlins sign infielder Chris Johnson

The Miami Marlins signed infielder Chris Johnson to a one-year deal. The team will pay Johnson the major league minimum, with the Atlanta Braves still on the hook for the remainder of his salary. (Joe Frisaro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson will presumably form the right handed hitting half of the first base platoon for the Marlins with Justin Bour. Johnson has had success against lefties in his career, but is not a recommended fantasy option due simply to lack of playing time. Deep league players who own Bour may want to consider adding Johnson as well, however.
