Eric Surkamp struggled in his loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday, giving up six earned runs on nine hits over just 4 2/3 innings. He walked four while striking out only three, throwing 97 pitches in total.
Fantasy Impact:
It was an ugly day for Surkamp, as he gave up four extra base hits (including two home runs) in the outing. For the season, he has an unsightly 5.59 ERA and 1.91 WHIP in 19 2/3 innings. He has a home start against the Astros coming up next, but he can be left on the waiver wire.
