Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts went 3-for-5 Tuesday night against Braves in Atlanta. Among those three hits, Bogaerts doubled (eight) while scoring twice and driving in one. His average on the season is now up to .291.
Fantasy Impact:
Since seeing his BA bottom out at .204 on April 19th, Bogaerts has recorded a hit in six straight games including four multi-hit games. His eight doubles place him among the league leaders and is tied for number one at his position. Although the questions about his power continue, Bogaerts' overall production in 2016 including five steals, 10 RBI and 14 runs means that he is a must start player.
