Daniel Wright lasts 5.1 innings in debut, Reds fall to Dodgers

by Justin Elick | Wed, May 25th 10:24am EDT

Wright allowed four runs (three earned) over 5.1 innings of work in his debut against the Dodgers. He gave up seven hits, walked one, and struck out four. Once again, the Reds struggled to produce much run support for their starter, as they were held to just three hits and two runs (both on an Adam Duvall home run in the 4th inning) in an 8-2 loss.

Fantasy Impact:

Wright isn't a player to have on your radar at this time. Once the Reds' rotation is healthy again, there is very little chance he will be a part of it. This was just a spot start, and he will likely be sent back down in the next day or two.
