Alexei Ramirez went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, five RBI, and two home runs on Wednesday against the Mariners.
On the list of players who had a chance to hit two home runs in a game in 2016, Ramirez would have been at the bottom. He now has three home runs and 22 RBI on the season, hardly the numbers of a power hitter. It's worth noting that all three of Ramirez's home runs have come in the last four games, and he's a notoriously slow starter. He could become a relevant middle infield option in mixed leagues if he gets hot.
