The Royals have designated Omar Infante for assignment. The Royals have 10 days to put Infante on waivers, trade him, release him or send him to the minors.
Fantasy Impact:
This is not a surprise move since younger Royals players have been playing well. Infante may have value if another team picks him up soon.
