Edwin Diaz entered a non-save situation, but proceeded to pitch a perfect ninth inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz has shown to be the closer of not only the future. but also the present for Mariners. He has shut the door in 16 out of 17 opportunities and sports a 2.20 ERA with 77 strikeouts in just 45 innings. He will enter 2017 as one of the top fantasy closers in all drafts.
