Justin Morneau's neck injury could play a deciding factor in his future

The White Sox were hopeful that Justin Morneau could give them the left-handed bat they needed to compete this season. Unfortunately, the team did not live up to expectations. The blame does not sit on Morneau's shoulders, who played great and then average for the two months he's been on the team. Morneau would like a chance to prove his injury is not a problem and shore up his future for 2017. Morneau's future with the White Sox will depend on how they decide to handle the team. Do they rebuild and let him walk or do they think they can turn things around and resign him? (South Side Sox)
Fantasy Impact:
Morneau was actually useful for a solid month in category leagues. He was also a decent option in DFS when you did not want to spend at the position. Morneau is a good hitter, but his age and injuries will limit his production from a fantasy standpoint. He is ownable, but also replaceable.
