Carlos Correa has another multi hit game Wednesday
by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Astros Correspondent | Wed, Sep 21st 7:37pm EDT
Holding at shortstop during Wednesday afternoon's 6-5 series sweeping victory over the Oakland Athletics, Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a single and a RBI double to give him 93 total RBI on the season. While also lining out and grounding out in the game, Correa keeps to a very stellar .274 average and .820 OPS on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the occasional streakiness, the top-five consensus ranked shortstop and reigning AL Rookie of the Year is still 2nd on the club in RBI and has been putting up some decent at-bats. Being 8 for his last 29 and pushing an OBP of .361 only further add to the narrative of this young sophomore major league commodity, whom is on pace to get 100 RBI before season's end. Fantasy owners will certainly want to keep the bat of Carlos Correa around for the foreseeable future.
