Anthony Rendon
3B - LAA
2021 Outlook
Ownership
Eligibility
Anthony Rendon did not play Saturday or during Sunday's season finale against the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact
With no known injury to speak of, the Angels simply allowed their big free agent acquisition to end his season prematurely once the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Rendon finished the season with a .286/.497/.915 slash line to go along with 29 R, 9 HR, and 31 RBI in 52 games. Rendon will remain one of the premier options at the hot corner in 2021 fantasy drafts.
Anthony Rendon went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a double, and two walks in a 6-2 win over the Rangers on Friday night.
Fantasy Impact
With the Angels leading 4-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Rendon added two insurance runs with a ground-rule double off of Rangers closer Rafael Montero. Rendon is now slashing .283/.518/.940 on the season with 28 runs, 9 home runs, and 31 RBI.
Anthony Rendon snapped out of his recent mini-slump in style on Thursday when he drilled a two-run, first inning home run to center field off of Arizona starter Alex Young. Rendon later added a double and finished the night 2-for-4 with one run and 2 RBI.
Fantasy Impact
The perennial all-star third baseman had been scuffling a bit of late but got back on track tonight. Rendon remains a top fantasy option at the hot corner.
Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon went 0-for-5 on Wednesday night while chipping in an RBI groundout in a 9-6 loss to Arizona.
Fantasy Impact
After a hot start to the month of September, the Angels prized free-agent acquisition has fallen into a 3-for-21 mini-slump (.142) over the past five games without a home run. Rendon still sports a solid .277 AVG with a .907 OPS and is far too good of a hitter to slump for much longer.
Angels star third baseman Anthony Rendon went 1-for-2 with a single, two walks, and an RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact
After a four-game sweep of the Astros over the weekend, the Angels have now dropped two straight games to the Rangers, falling to 17-27 on the season and appear highly unlikely to make the postseason despite the expanded playoff field for 2020. Rendon, however, remains locked in as a top fantasy option the rest of the way as he is sporting a healthy .291 AVG and .964 OPS.
