Brandon Lowe belts pair of homers in Game 2 win

Brandon Lowe went 2-for-5 with a pair of homers and three RBI during Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers in Game 2 of the World Series.

Fantasy Impact

Lowe was in a 4-for-52 skid before homering twice in Game 2. He crushed a leadoff homer off Tony Gonsolin in the first inning, and then later belted a two-run blast off Dustin May during the fifth. Despite the 26-year-old's impressive performance, Lowe has struggled most of this postseason. The Rays second baseman is hitting .131 (8-for-61) with three home runs, five RBI and six runs scored over 15 games.

Brandon Lowe homers in Game 5 loss

Brandon Lowe went 1-for-5 with a solo home run during Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Astros in Game 5 of the ALCS.

Fantasy Impact

Lowe has struggled mightily this postseason, hitting .089 (4-for-45). The 26-year-old finally broke out of his slump with a solo shot off Blake Taylor in the third inning. He sat Game 4 but led off and played second base in Thursday's loss. Lowe will look to build on his game 5 performance on Friday when the Rays take on the Astros for Game 6.

Brandon Lowe leading off in ALCS Game 5

Brandon Lowe is leading off and playing second base in the Rays' ALCS Game 5 against the Astros on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Lowe took a seat in Game 4 as he has been struggling at the plate this postseason. He's known to be streaky as a hitter, so hopefully for the Rays yesterday's off day can get him back on track.

Brandon Lowe homers as Rays clinch division

Brandon Lowe went 2-for-5 with a homer, three RBI, and two runs scored as the Rays beat the Mets on Wednesday to clinch the American League East.

Fantasy Impact

It's fitting that Lowe played a role in the clinching game. The 26-year-old was a legitimate AL MVP candidate for much of the season's first half. He eventually cooled a bit as all streaky hitters do, but overall he remained Tampa Bay's best hitter for the year. Lowe is hitting .274 with 11 homers and a .933 OPS with just a few games left in the 2020 campaign.
