The Rays outrighted Brian Van Belle to Triple-A Durham on Thursday. Van Belle was diagnosed with a UCL sprain in September, and Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that he underwent surgery and will miss the entire 2026 season. The specific procedure was not disclosed, though a Tommy John operation would have been the second of his career. Van Belle will remain with the organization while rehabbing.
