The Tampa Bay Rays placed Brian Van Belle on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Van Belle felt a "pulling sensation" in the inside of his throwing elbow after throwing a sweeper on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians. He still felt pain on Saturday and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity and a timeline for his return. In a corresponding move, Joe Rock was recalled from Triple-A Durham.
