Cleveland outfielder Josh Naylor went 1-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in a 5-4 win over the Royals on Wednesday.
Naylor's solo homer in the top of the ninth inning broke a 4-4 tie and wound up being the game-winner. The young outfielder has just two homers on the year, with both coming in his past three games. Overall, Naylor has a .272 average with 10 runs and eight RBI.

Naylor is hitting .262 with nine doubles, eight runs, and five RBI in 84 at-bats. He ranks in the 72nd percentile in average exit velocity, so he's making good contact. If that continues, more of Naylor's doubles should start turning into homers.

Gerrit Cole was in complete control in this one, but he just couldn't figure out Naylor. Acquired from the Padres in the Mike Clevinger deal, Naylor didn't do much during the regular season. In fact, he homered just once in 40 games. The lefty will likely be a popular DFS play in Game 2 on Wednesday.
Josh Naylor is part of the package the Indians are receiving from the Padres in exchange for Mike Clevinger.
Naylor showed some promise at times during the 2019 season but hasn't played much for the Padres this summer. Perhaps he'll get some additional at bats in Cleveland, but he isn't a name to know for fantasy purposes.
