Outfielder Ketel Marte went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and a strikeout as the D-Backs fell to the Dodgers 8-4 on Tuesday.
Marte provided the majority of the D-Backs' offense on Tuesday, as has been the case for most of the year. He took Justin Bruihl deep for a three-run homer in the seventh inning and also secured a pair of singles in the contest as well. The dynamic 27-year-old is now slashing .325/.383/.537 with 12 home runs, 45 RBI, and one stolen base over 283 at-bats on the year. He missed a lot of time due to injuries but he's been hyper-productive when healthy this year.
Outfielder Ketel Marte went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk, and two runs scored as the Diamondbacks lost to the Mariners 8-5 on Saturday.
Marte temporarily tied up the ball game with a solo home run off Marco Gonzales in the bottom of the fourth inning to even the score at 5-5. He also drew a walk earlier in the contest and scored. The 27-year-old is putting together an excellent season. He's slashing .337/.391/.548 with 10 home runs, 39 RBI, and one stolen base over 252 at-bats.
Outfielder Ketel Marte went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout as the Diamondbacks lost to the Mariners 6-5 in extra-innings.
Marte has collected at least one hit in 18-of-22 games so it's hard to fault him for the o-for-4 performance on Friday. The 27-year-old will have plenty of chances to stick it to his former team over the next week as the D-Backs play five more games against Seattle. Marte is slashing .339/.391/.540 with nine home runs, 38 RBI, and one stolen base over 248 at-bats.
Outfielder Ketel Marte went 1-for-4 with a grand slam as the Diamondbacks lost to the Padres 7-5 on Monday.
Marte delivered with his only hit of the night as he swatted a grand slam off Emilio Pagan in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull the D-Backs within one run. They would go on to lose but it was a big moment for the 27-year-old. Despite the injures earlier this season, Marte has been highly productive when he's played this year. He's slashing .345/.397/.557 with nine home runs and 38 RBI over 235 at-bats.
Outfielder Ketel Marte went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and a strikeout as the Diamondbacks fell to the Phillies by a score of 7-6 on Friday.
Marte didn't start this ball game but he entered later in the eighth inning as a pinch hitter. He struck out in his first at-bat but he made his second plate appearance count with a go-ahead two-run homer in extra-innings. The D-Backs would go on to lose anyway but it was a nice surprise for fantasy managers that left Marte in their lineups. The dynamic 27-year-old is now slashing .350/.402/.561 with eight home runs and 34 RBI on the season.
