Kyle Farmer went two-for-four with an RBI in the Reds' loss to the Brewers on Friday.
Farmer was one of few bright spots for the Reds in this one. Despite the solid game, Farmer has cooled after a strong June and isn't a great fantasy option currently. On the season, Farmer is batting .251 with six HRs, 39 runs, and 51 RBI.
Kyle Farmer went two-for-four and scored two runs in the Reds' win over the Orioles Saturday.
Farmer has been in a funk since his return from a hand injury a little over a week ago. He was on fire in June, so hopefully, this will get him going again. He remains an option for deep leagues only with limited upside.
Kyle Farmer hit a home run off Yankees starter Luis Severino on Wednesday. It was his only hit of the game, which the Reds ultimately lost 7-6 in 10 innings.
Farmer has struggled since being hit on the hand by a 100 mph Spencer Strider fastball on July 2. After missing a few games, Farmer returned to the lineup on July 6 but only has three hits in 26 at-bats since. Hopefully, this HR will help him regain the mojo that had him hitting .280 with 39 RBI before the injury.
Kyle Farmer left Saturday's game after being hit by a 100 mph Spencer Strider fastball on the hand in the fifth inning. There's no word yet on the severity of the injury.
There's a good chance Farmer will miss some time and possibly land on the IL. Keep an eye out for further updates. Farmer has been a solid contributor this season with a .280 BA, five HRs, four SBs, 27 runs, and 39 RBI. Matt Reynolds figures to see most of the starts at shortstop should Farmer miss significant time.
Kyle Farmer went 3-for-5 with two doubles Wednesday, but it wasn't nearly enough for the Reds, who lost 8-4 to the Dodgers.
Farmer continued his white-hot June and is now hitting .286 on the season. Though not among the top fantasy shortstops, Farmer has proved himself a solid bat the past few seasons and is worthy of a roster spot in deeper leagues.
