Fantasy Impact
O'Hoppe and teammate Chase Silseth will remain in the AL West, with the return to the Angels currently unknown in one of the first trades of the deadline season. O'Hoppe is hitting .209 with four homers and a .566 OPS in 75 games played this season. Logan O'Hoppe went 3-for-4 in a loss to the Athletics with a three-run home run, one walk, and two runs scored.
Fantasy Impact
O'Hoppe continues a steady stretch at the plate of late, recording hits in eight of his last 10 contests. The catcher remains one of many inconsistent bats in the Angels lineup to this point, batting .244 with four home runs, 20 RBI, and 19 runs scored across 52 games.
Logan O'Hoppe went 2-for-2 with a solo home run on Wednesday, helping the Angels to a 3-2, 10-inning win over the Astros.
Fantasy Impact
O'Hoppe hit his third home run of the season off of Houston starter Peter Lambert with two outs in the fifth. He also added a single and a sacrifice in the victory. Overall, it has been a disappointing season for the catcher, batting just .212 with three home runs and 16 RBI in 45 games. However, O'Hoppe is showing some signs of life as he is batting .280 (7-for-25) with two of his three homers over the last eight games. A high average is not likely in the cards, but he totaled 39 home runs in 2024 and 2025, so there is plenty of time for a power surge at some point this summer.
