Myles Straw is not practicing due to a viral infection.
It is not ideal for Straw to miss time as he is competing with Esteven Florial for the center field job. His status will be one to monitor to see if he can return to practice soon.

Straw didn't appear in his club's 5-1 loss to the Orioles on Tuesday but will start a three-game set with the Reds in center field out of the nine-hole on Tuesday. It's been a tough season for the glove-first outfielder who is hitting .227 with just one home run across 503 plate appearances on the season.

Straw started in center field Wednesday and went 1-for-3 with an RBI double but will take a seat for Thursday's series opener with the Orioles. It's been a tough season at the plate for the glove-first Straw who is hitting just .227 with one homer, 18 steals, and a .575 OPS across 140 games.
Straw went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in a loss to Tampa Bay Friday.
Straw's long ball was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing game for the Guardians, and it adds to his season total of 87 hits and 43 runs scored in 112 games played. Despite a low batting average of .237, Straw has shown some pop with 15 doubles and three triples, and his 13 stolen bases provide some additional value for fantasy managers.
