Bobby Dalbec went 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout on Sunday against the A's.
Dalbec played on both Saturday and Sunday after missing a few games due to a minor hamstring issue. The rookie first baseman is batting just .216 with a .684 OPS here in early July. He does have 10 homers but the Red Sox could seek alternative options at the trade deadline if he doesn't turn things around in a hurry.
Red Sox 1B Bobby Dalbec is considered day-to-day with hamstring tightness.
Dalbec was removed from Tuesday's win over the Royals with the issue. He isn't expected to play on Wednesday, but the injury is considered a minor one.
Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-4 on Sunday.
Dalbec is beginning to heat up a bit recently. He is only hitting .219 but if he goes on a hot streak there is a good reason to believe that his power numbers will make him a viable fantasy asset. He is worth a speculative add, or at least an add to the watch list in deeper leagues,
Bobby Dalbec went 3-for-3 with a triple, a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored on Saturday.
The Red Sox really need Dalbec to get going, as first base has possibly been their weakest offensive position all year. This most recent performance is a good sign for the young first baseman. He is now batting .214, and has nine homers on the year. Dalbec was projected to be in ROTY contention by many experts, so he is worth a speculative add just in case he gets hot.
Bobby Dalbec went 1-for-3 with a home run on Sunday.
Dalbec is showing a bit of a power surge as of late. However, he is still hitting under the mendoza line and only has eight home runs to show right now. He is not a must own, but if he starts to get hot this summer he is worth a speculative add in most redraft leagues.
