Indians C Roberto Perez was removed from Wednesday's game against the Royals due to shoulder fatigue.
He was replaced in the game by Sandy Leon. The Indians are calling his removal precautionary.
Cleveland Indians catcher Roberto Perez went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, and three RBI in a 10-1 win over the Royals on Tuesday.
Those were Perez's first two extra-base hits in 47 at-bats. The veteran catcher struggled with injuries earlier in the year and is hitting just .170 with five RBI. He socked 24 homers last season so keep an eye on him in case he stays hot.
