With the Royals facing a two-run deficit in the top of the 8th inning, McBroom crushed a two-run home run off Amir Garrett to even up the score. It was his only at-bat of the evening. McBroom has been solid in limited AB's this season with a .290/.333/.645 batting line to go along with three home runs and five RBI. He carries little fantasy value, though, as he's been platooning with teammate Ryan O'Hearn.

McBroom went deep of Minnesota reliever Matt Wisler in the sixth inning. McBroom is now hitting .267 with two homers, three runs, and three RBI on the year. He has been sharing the work with Ryan O'Hearn through the first few weeks of action.

Ryan McBroom went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run but the Royals fell short and lost to the White Sox 3-2 on Friday.

Fantasy Impact

McBroom had himself a day for the Royals when smacked his first double and home run of 2020. While the first baseman had a nice day at the plate he simply doesn't play enough to contribute meaningfully in fantasy.
